As reported on the record company's Facebook page, Scott "Wino" Weinrich recently signed a record deal with the label Ripple Music, known for doom, stoner and heavy rock releases.
Weinrich is one of the busiest personalities on the scene and made a name for himself as a front man of Saint Vitus in the eighties before later playing and singing the guitar with bands like Spirit Caravan and The Hidden Hand. His current projects include The Obsessed and his solo band WINO, with whom he will henceforth publish via Ripple Music. The acoustic album "Forever Gone", which is due to be released in early 2020, will kick off the collaboration. According to Ripple Music, the record will also be the first in a series called "Blood and Strings", in the course of which further well-known artists will deliver acoustic disks in the future.
