The Masked Singer goes into the next round. ProSieben has now announced the start of season 2. The show will start much earlier this year. Here you can find out who will be there again and what will change. It has long been known that ProSieben is continuing its hit show The Masked Singer. In March 2020, the new episodes will start in the second season. ProSieben therefore starts the next round much earlier. Season 1 was still running in the summer months in 2019, which are typically unused by many television shows. But even in the height of summer, The Masked Singer quickly became a quota hit that paid off for the broadcaster.
The exact start day in March is not yet known. As reported by DWDL, among others, the show will not return to its traditional slot on Thursday. Because at that time, Germany's Next Top Model is already running at ProSieben. The broadcaster should now aim to broadcast the new episodes on Tuesday evening. We can look forward to the return of the popular moderator: Matthias Opdenhövel will continue to look after the mysterious stars next year and support the jury in their assumptions.
10 costumed singers will be sent back into the race. Your disguises will be replaced, as is common in other countries where the show has been running for a long time. In the show, anonymous and disguised celebrities appear in front of the jury and television audience, sing a song and look funny. The jury's task is to find out the identities behind the masks. They get tips from very vague tips that are interspersed with input clips.
But even if the team is right, the identity of the candidates will only be revealed when they finally leave the show. At the end of each show, the audience determines who has to go.
